The Lakeview Action Coalition (LAC) is a non-profit, multi-issue community organization. The Coalition is made up of 33 institutional members, including religious congregations, non-profit agencies, banks, business associations, a credit union and a senior citizens caucus. These diverse institutions are stakeholders in the Chicago communities of Lakeview and North Center.
LAC enables its members to act on their values in public life by participating in the decisions that shape the future of the community. This mission is fulfilled by organizing people around issues affecting members and by developing leaders through training, action and reflection. Since their founding in 1993, they have stood for justice, solidarity and diversity.

The Lake View Citizens' Council provides citizens in Lake View with the opportunity to work together for the common good of the Lake View community. They provide a public forum for the discussion of community concerns and work to improve the physical and social environment of the Lake View community. These 13 affiliate branches work individually on issues within their immediate neighborhoods: Belmont Harbor Neighbors, Central Lake View Neighbors, East Lake View Neighbors, Hamlin Park Neighbors, Hawthorne Neighbors, North Central Lake View Neighbors, Roscoe Village Neighbors, South East Lake View Neighbors, South Lakeview Neighbors, Southport Neighbors Association, Triangle Neighbors, West DePaul Neighborhood Association, and the West Lakeview Association.
Belmont Harbor Neighbors Association
Belmont Harbor Neighbors was founded over 30 years ago to represent the more than 10,000 people who live in one of the most diverse and energetic communities in Chicago. Belmont Harbor covers the area from Belmont, Addison, Halsted, and Lake Michigan.
